Looking Back At Your Preliminary Task, What Do You Feel You Have Learnt In The Progression From It To The Full Product?

* The quality of my pictures have changed dramatically. I have began to use mise-en-scene whilst doing my music magazine which has given it a more rock effect. In the preliminary task I used a normal Sony Cybershot camera, but for my final music magazine, I used the SLR's.
* I have begun to experiment more with colours and different fonts that correspond with the genre of magazine. In addition to this, my understanding of font sizes has grown and now it shows that I've become aware of the effects using different sizes gives.
* The layout of my magazine is a lot better structured. Everything is presented in a specific way and there isn't much blank space unlike my preliminary task.
* I have thought more about the genre a lot more, for example the costume my music magazine artist is wearing really shows the kind of music she's into, where as for my preliminary task, I didn't think about this much.
* I've included small details on my final magazine that touches it up, and for example the date, website and price are all the same font, colour and size on it whereas they are all different on my preliminary task.
* My music magazine contents page is a lot more detailed compared to my preliminary task. For example, there's more text and images that have been used. Font and font sizes has also been used more appropriately and my understanding has increased.
* The pictures have been more thought out, the mise-en-scene is excellent and the artists are dressed more appropriately. You can tell that each of my artists are from a rock magazine.
* There's no blank space on my music magazine. I've avoided this by using the stars in the background.
* The text is appropriate and isn't as plain as in my preliminary task. For example, I've used a simple font in my preliminary task and also the black background isn't following my colour scheme.
