Research and Planning: The making of my magazine

This is the first basic start of my double page spread. The text has been inserted but the font and specific colour hasn't been chosen. This is just a basic outline to go off in future lessons.

The same applies for my contents page. The jist of what I want the basic idea of it to look like has been started... I just need to add to that.

Before I finished for Christmas I took 2 more print screens of my work. 

 As you can see here I have added a star effect in the background on here to make it not look as plain and simple. Most of my stories are there now but it's just a matter of the pictures. I have Josh's on there already as you can see. I'm taking the ones with my friend Claire in the holidays and Sally's rock out ones and Careys as soon as we get back from Christmas.

This is coming along really well I think. I just need to get a couple of the rocking out pictures on there from in the recording studio.

 

I have enlarged these pictures so far to show the detail and what I have changed since last time. Since my photo's had been taken of Claire I wanted to make sure one was added as soon as possible onto my magazine. I rearranged a few bits and added some extra writing to fill any blank spaces. Something I think I will struggle with is putting the pictures of Carey on..I'm thinking of doing 3 shots vertically like the image shown beneathe.

The above image doesnt appear to have changed very much but I have put a slight edge to the right hand side to ensure that there is as little blank space as possible. I also have included a skull and cross bone sign underneath although you can't see it very well so I will make sure I turn the opacity up.
